From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart, your journey is supported by fully accessible, end-to-end transport solutions designed around your needs. Every transfer, vehicle, and flight is thoughtfully coordinated to ensure comfort, independence, and a seamless safari experience. Whether arriving at an international airport, connecting to a remote airstrip, or heading out on a game drive, we tailor each step so you can focus on what matters most—immersing yourself in Africa’s wilderness and wildlife without limitation.

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles

Your safari begins the moment you land. Our wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs) used for airport transfers and urban touring are equipped with ramps or hydraulic lifts, secure tie-down systems, and swivel seating to ensure safe, comfortable travel for wheelchair users and their companions. Spacious interiors allow for ease of movement, while ample seating ensures everyone can travel together comfortably.

Our experienced driver-guides are trained in accessibility support and understand the importance of confidence, dignity, and assistance where required. From airport arrival to hotel transfers and beyond, they are there to support you every step of the way, ensuring your journey begins smoothly and stress-free.

4x4 Safari Vehicles (4x4 WAVs)

When your adventure takes you into the wilderness, our specially adapted 4x4 safari vehicles (4x4 WAVs) are designed to deliver exceptional game viewing while accommodating a range of mobility needs. Depending on requirements, vehicles are fitted with either rear or side loading ramp systems.Where possible, we recommend transferring—assisted if needed—into the standard safari seat for optimal comfort, safety, and unobstructed game viewing. However, for guests who prefer to remain in their wheelchair, we ensure it is securely positioned and safely integrated into the vehicle. Our fleet includes both open-sided vehicles, suitable for guests who can transfer using side ramps, and closed-spec vehicles, ideal for driving safaris and guests requiring rear-loading access. Closed vehicles feature large viewing windows and pop-up roofs for panoramic wildlife viewing, combining accessibility with an immersive safari experience tailored to your needs. These vehicles and solutions allow for more than just game driving and open up all kinds of safari experiences such as sundowners or bush breakfasts in the wild!

Flying on Safari (Flying Safaris)

Light aircraft are one of the most efficient and scenic ways to connect safari destinations. Flying reduces long road transfers, allowing you to spend more time at your camp or lodge and in the wild. We coordinate closely with airlines to ensure all logistical and accessibility requirements are in place prior to travel.

This includes arranging ground assistance, preparing boarding equipment, and ensuring staff are trained to assist passengers requiring support during embarkation and disembarkation. Depending on aircraft type—ranging from small 6-seaters to larger 50-seat planes—transfers from wheelchairs to aisle chairs (lift-on/lift-off) may be required, and manual assistance is sometimes part of the process.

Each guest is assessed individually, and we work closely with you in advance to determine the most suitable flight arrangements. While some mobility devices may be too heavy for certain aircraft, we explore all practical solutions to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-supported flying experience.

Helicopter Safaris

For ultimate flexibility and a truly unforgettable perspective, helicopter travel opens up the bush in extraordinary ways. Helicopters provide access to remote and otherwise unreachable locations, while dramatically reducing travel time between destinations.

Imagine a morning in the Maasai Mara, breakfast overlooking Lake Victoria, and returning to the Mara for an afternoon game drive—all in a single day. Helicopter safaris offer unmatched freedom, scenic beauty, and efficiency.

For guests requiring assistance, trained pilots are on hand to support transfers, including manual lifting where necessary. More than just a pilot, they become part of your experience—guiding you, assisting you, and sharing in the journey. By the end of your flight, what begins as transport often becomes one of the most memorable highlights of your entire safari.
